Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress. Since the mid 80s, Angela Evelyn has worked on film and television. The actress has won many awards, including sixteen NAACP Image Awards. Bassett originates from New York New York. She was raised at Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett relocated with her twin sister in St. Petersburg Florida at age five in order in order to be closer to their mother as she was divorced from their father. Bassett saw James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play while she was still in high school, and realised that acting is what she wanted to do. When she graduated from Yale University New Haven Connecticut in 1980 with the Bachelor's degree in African American Studies, she continued to pursue an MA (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale In 1997, they got married. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies in 1980, Master in Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grades) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett is currently working as one of the main roles in the film Ramonda in the action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
